Adding Contacts with Contact Search

How to add contacts from our database using Contact Search.

Prerequisites

Before using Contact Search, make sure you have:

Follow these steps to add contacts using Contact Search:

Click the Contact Search button to open the contact search interface. This will launch the search tool where you can define your targeting criteria.

Step 2: Define Your Search Criteria

Search for your ideal customer persona using the built-in filters. You have access to powerful targeting options including:

  • Job Title - Target specific roles and positions

  • Buying Intent - Find contacts showing purchase signals

  • Company Size - Filter by employee count or revenue

  • Industry - Target specific business sectors

  • Location - Geographic targeting options

  • Technology Stack - Target companies using specific tools

  • And many others - Explore all available filters to refine your search

Step 3: Select Contact Count

Choose how many contacts with those filters you want to add to your audience. You can:

  • Set a specific number of contacts to add

  • Review the estimated match count before adding

  • Adjust your filters if needed to get the right volume

Step 4: Add to Audience

Once you're satisfied with your search criteria and contact count, confirm to add the contacts to your audience. The contacts will be processed and added automatically.

  • Start broad, then narrow - Begin with basic filters and add more specific criteria as needed

  • Use buying intent signals - Leverage intent data to find contacts actively researching solutions

  • Combine multiple filters - Use job title + company size + industry for precise targeting

  • Monitor match counts - Adjust filters if your search is too broad or too narrow
